Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) are back from their trip to Monte Carlo with some big news. They have oodles of cash and are ready to save the day. However, his triumphant return quickly sours when Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) takes him to task.

She is not happy with Philip and Xander (Paul Telfer). Does she have a problem with the way Philip got all this money? By the end of the week, things get better for Philip when he and Gabi decide to give things another try.

Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) plays more games next week when she tries to avoid more medical tests. Maybe Stephanie (Abigail Klein) was right to suspect that Joy is faking things. Meanwhile, Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) asks Abe (James Reynolds) for advice about his growing feelings for a married woman.

In other Salem news, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) finds herself in some legal trouble. It's a safe bet that EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) is behind this problem. By the end of the week, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Sarah suspect foul play.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) continue to investigate, but Steve gets quite a surprise when he ends up learning disturbing news from Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso).
