Not only has General Hospital taken him up on his request, but so has Days of our Lives! Dick Van Dyke played Timothy, the true father of the late John Black (Drake Hogestyn). He won a Daytime Emmy in 2024 for his appearance on the show in the category of Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series. However, a few of the Peacock program's actors are super-enthused about him joining the show. It looks like he'll be appearing alongside Dan Feuerriegel, who plays dastardly EJ DiMera. But the actor shared on social that they interacted in the show's makeup room! "I’m in the makeup room, and I hear, 'Hello, I'm John,'" Nichols says. "And there he was, hand outstretched, John Oliver!"Nichols grabbed a photo of sorts with the show's newest cast member when Oliver was in character on a monitor in his dressing room.
