Days of our Lives ends the week with Holly's Coriseal problems once again taking center stage. According to the latest spoilers for Friday, July 17, 2026, Tate finds something surprising while EJ finds himself in another sticky situation.
What Did EJ Do Now?

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) remains insistent that she hasn't taken Coriseal or any drugs, except the ones she was prescribed. After an overdose and Sophia (Rachel Boyd) switching out her skin care supplements, Holly wants to stay as far away from drugs as possible. But she needs to know how the Coriseal got into her system.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), Brady (Eric Martsolf), and Steve (Stephen Nichols) are hot on the case, but have been coming up empty. Tate completely believes Holly and is on her side. Now that Holly is on the mend, she even visits with Ari Vico Escorcia), who also believes her.
The problem comes when Tate is looking through Holly's bag and finds Coriseal pills inside. What would they be doing there if Holly didn't take them? Will Tate start to believe Brady that addicts can be very believable when they want to cover up drug use?
Clearly, EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) had them placed there because he needs to cover his tracks and he doesn't care who he has to hurt to do it. As long as Holly isn't dead, that seems to be good enough for EJ. He has more fires to put out as he receives some bad news. Does his kidnapping plot go awry?
Marital Problems

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) have only been married a few short months and they have already had to deal with a kidnapping and a surprise baby that belongs to Alex, but not Stephanie. Joy's (AlexAnn Hopkins) constant needs have been getting in the way of their honeymoon period and Stephanie has grown weary of it.
After spending the night on Joy's floor to help take care of Kelsey, Alex comes home to find Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) on his couch. Stephanie has a lot of explaining to do as the pair hashes things out. Amazingly, they even come to a new understanding about how to move forward. Perhaps Stephanie and Joy need to have it out.
Does EJ need to experience another downfall? Is Stephanie right to feel the way she does about Joy? Sound off in the comments.
