Days of our Lives begins a new week much in the same way the old one ended. According to the latest spoilers for Monday, July 20, 2026, Holly is under fire once again while EJ tries to play nice.
Holly Defends and Denies
Tate (Leo Howard) is stunned when he finds pills in Holly's (Ashley Puzemis) bag when she swears up and down that she hasn't been taking anything except for what she was prescribed. He brings his find to Brady (Eric Martsolf), who had been telling him that addicts can be very convincing when they're using.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is also devastated because she was trying to give Holly the benefit of the doubt. EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) listens in as Brady, Tate, and Sarah debate what to do next. That means his plan is working and Holly's loved ones believed she was doing drugs again.
When Tate and Sarah confront Holly with the pills, she is horrified and swears up and down that she has no idea how they got into her bag. Holly is hurt and furious that nobody will believe her, especially Tate. Is Holly going to end up in rehab against her will when she hasn't taken any drugs? That would have to be one of EJ's most diabolical plans yet and he is doing it to his own former stepdaughter.
About Cat and Rafe
Rafe (Galen Gering) has already told Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) to stay away from EJ and not get in any deeper, but he is not her boss, so he can't order her around. While he worries about what Cat might do next, he also has to worry about Gabi (Cherie Jimenez). She just got some shocking news and needs some advice.
As for Cat, she keeps up her act with EJ, but is it really an act at this point? EJ is always kind to Cat, so it's hard not to feel something for him, but she is also on a mission and knows how cruel he can be.

However, EJ apologizes to Cat on Monday. Is he sorry that he pressured her into undergoing hypnosis? Cat just smiles and wonders if EJ's feelings for her are actually real.
