2014 Daytime Emmys Fashion -- What people were wearing

As the flashes from the paparazzi's cameras light up the night like a million fireflies, one question inevitably rises above the controlled ruckus that is the Red Carpet at the Daytime Emmy: "Who are you wearing?"

While the responses may not offer solutions to the pressing issues of everyday life, for one evening each year, it's a question that excites fans of some of the longest-running scripted programs in broadcast history. In this section, you'll find photos from the Red Carpet and backstage at this year's Daytime Emmys. The photos are exclusive to Soap Central, and are not pool photos from other sources.

EMMY FASHION: THE BEST

It's never an easy task picking out the Best Dressed when there are so many stunning daytime stars. Below, though, you'll see four of our favorites -- each proving that sometimes less is more. From Camila Banus choosing a pop of color with a beautiful yellow necklace to newcomer Vinessa Antoine's Dolce and Gabbana dress to Jess Walton's sapphire kimono-inspired gown, these are our choices for Best Dressed.
