Benfante reveals that there were “40 people” around him during the explosion. He saw “light flashed” right outside his window, which caused the “doorway” to his office to blow open. Though he told his colleagues to calm down, chaos ensued. He soon began to go down the steps when he came across a woman in a wheelchair on the 68th floor, which caused him to stop.

Instead of saving his own life, Mike decided to strap the woman's wheelchair and carry her down the steps, eventually saving her life from the 9/11 incident. A witness further revealed in the comment section details of this heroic rescue. The witness revealed that this woman in the wheelchair was not only rescued from the 9/11 incident but also reunited with her husband.

While the terrorist attack took place, a witness was standing in “Lower Manhattan” and watching the whole incident unfold. A man was standing beside this witness, and the witness saw the man collapse. When asked, the man revealed that his wife was “in the tower” and was also in a wheelchair. The man began to cry profusely while speaking about his wife. However, the witness came across this man once again after a week and saw the man with his wife, connecting the story of Mike Benfante.
