Andrew Tate’s lawyers reveal supercars and yachts were rented during extradition fight

The expensive cars and luxury lifestyle linked to Andrew Tate are now part of his latest legal battle. According to recent reports, Andrew Tate's lawyers are claiming that the internet personality might not be as rich as everyone thinks while he fights extradition to the U.K.

According to Tate's lawyers, the superyacht known as Obsidian Blade, which is said to cost $50 million and is featured in their videos, is not owned by the Tate brothers. Additionally, the Aston Martin and Bugattis, which were featured on Andrew Tate's brother Tristan's videos, were also rented, and the brothers don't own them.

The claims come after prosecutors reportedly said on August 10 that the Tate brothers are a flight risk.

Andrew Tate has a reported net worth of $20 million in 2026, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Earlier this year in July, both brothers, Andrew and Tristan Tate, were arrested in Miami while fighting extradition to the U.K. As reported by The Guardian, Andrew Tate faces charges of se*ual exploitation, ra*e, assault, and child se*ual abuse material offenses. His brother, Tristan Tate, faces charges of se*ual assault, ra*e, and se*ual exploitation.

At that time, the brothers' lawyers said that Andrew and Tristan Tate are innocent, while claiming that the people who have targeted the brothers know they are innocent and that this is the reason they have been attacked.

Earlier this month, prosecutors said the brothers were a flight risk because of their multiple passports, connections throughout the world, and different identities. However, on August 21, the lawyers of the brothers responded to the claims about their wealth and "self-proclaimed billionaires," saying that Andrew and Tristan Tate are not as rich as they seem to be online.

The filing says the government is claiming that the Tate brothers are a "risk of flight" because of their reported wealth. It points to their social media claims, where they have stated to be "self-proclaimed billionaires" with luxury cars, private jets, and a superyacht that is estimated to be around $50 million. The document also mentions traditional funds, cryptocurrency, and Bitcoin.

However, the lawyers later argued that the government has not provided actual proof that the brothers own these assets or have access to the money. The lawyers, as per the filing, stated that the superyacht, called Obsidian Blade, is not owned by the Tate brothers and that the brothers were given money to advertise the ship on social media.

The lawyers also claimed that the luxury cars, like the Bugatti cars worth an estimated $5 million to $7 million, and an Aston Martin worth around $2.1 million, which are seen in Tristan's videos, are not his but rented. The lawyers mentioned that they have an interest in presenting themselves as very wealthy online, mentioning that:

"The Tates are engaged in several businesses ‘teaching’ men how to earn money."

The filing further noted that the watch value came from another source, and the meme coin figure was for all existing coins, not Tate's alone.

The Tate brothers are expected to have their bail hearing on August 27.
