However, the blimp case inside which the camera was kept was huge. Anne Hathaway notes that the blimp “surrounds the camera by several feet in all directions”; hence, a trick was used so that the cameras could get close without any difficulty. The design was “beautifully” done so that none of the actors felt like they were “compromising” to engage with a system. The whole process was "ingenious." Anne Hathaway also spoke about the thrilling experience of the usage of this “new piece of tech," which is unlike many of the new technologies being used in moviemaking in that it is not “reliant upon computers”. Tom Holland also adds about the mirror trick used in the movie, speaking about a scene that he did with Jon Bernthal, who takes on the role of Menelaus in the movie. He notes that the whole scene was done on the “mirror”. View this post on Instagram Instagram PostThe scene also made him “forget that the camera was there”. While discussing Christopher Nolan’s direction, Tom Holland adds that he loved how Nolan is able to “undercut the tension” with his “British humor”. He also appreciated how, with Christopher Nolan, he did not feel the pressure of making people wait, which usually happens with many other directors who send the crew away so that the actors can get their time before the scene.
