Avengers: Doomsday trailer release date in USA and UK reportedly revealed

A new rumor suggests that the Avengers: Doomsday trailer will be released soon. A trailer was screened at CinemaCon this April, and footage from the movie was also shown to attendees at CineEurope a few weeks ago, but Marvel did not release either online. Therefore, the wait continues for the Doomsday trailer as the film is just six months away from its theatrical release.

However, we don't have to wait for long, as Marvel has a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) on July 25, 2026. An internet scooper has suggested that the new Avengers: Doomsday trailer will finally be released the same day as the studio's Comic-Con panel.

Avengers: Doomsday trailer release date

The internet scooper The Beyond Reporter posted on their X (formerly Twitter) account that the long-awaited trailer is dropping the same day as Marvel's Comic-Con panel, along with the release time. It appears that the trailer may drop online just moments after its screening at the SDCC panel. If the trailer does drop online on this rumored date, here's when the trailer drops in your geographical location:

However, it needs to be noted that Marvel hasn't confirmed that the Avengers: Doomsday trailer will release on the day its Comic-Con panel is scheduled.

What do we know about Doomsday?

Very few details are available about the sixth Avengers movie, even though rumors continue to circulate online about it. But we do know important details about the MCU epic, such as Robert Downey Jr. being back in the franchise, but this time as Marvel Comics' most iconic villain, Victor Von Doom. Apart from that, we know that since it is the culmination of the Multiverse Saga, it will involve multiple Earths.

One of these Earths will be the one that we saw in the 2000s X-Men franchise. Therefore, it is not surprising that Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, Rebecca Romijn, Alan Cumming, and James Marsden are reprising their roles. Joining them is Channing Tatum's Gambit, who made his debut in Deadpool & Wolverine. Kevin Feige discussed the project in an Entertainment Weekly interview this April:

"We're not talking too much about story, but I think people know that the story of Doomsday is inspired by a very famous comic run in which universes are colliding, and Earths encounter one another, and different timelines encounter one another. And in movie speak, what that allows us to do is get different casts from different franchises."

While actors from the X-Men franchise are confirmed, many believe that they are not the only legacy Marvel actors appearing in Avengers: Doomsday. Many rumors indicate that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are either appearing in Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars.
