Black Panther 3 finally reveals who's playing T'Challa's son

After the end of the second movie, fans have been eagerly waiting for Black Panther 3, which will continue the story of Wakanda. At the end of Wakanda Forever, Shuri finds a light of hope after she visits Nakia in Haiti.

Nakia introduces Shuri to her nephew. He is T’Challa and Nakia's son, Toussaint, and is the primary focus of the storyline in Black Panther 3. At San Diego Comic-Con, the director of the movie unveils the details of who plays T’Challa’s son along with the release of the movie.

Black Panther 3’s very talented director, Ryan Coogler, revealed that T’Challa’s son will be played by David Jonsson. David Jonsson has brought life to many complex characters through the years in the world of entertainment. Some of David Jonsson’s other projects include The Road Trip, Alien: Romulus, The Long Walk, WasteMan, etc.

Right after T’Challa’s son’s introduction at the end of Wakanda Forever, viewers have been eager to know who will play the adult version of T’Challa’s son in the next movie. With the many projects that David Jonsson took on, it can be understood that his contribution as T’Challa’s son in the upcoming movie will be something to look forward to. Ryan Coogler has also unveiled the release date of Black Panther 3.

The movie is set to release on December 15, 2028. Hence, quite some time is left. With the announcement of the cast of Black Panther 3, the fandom is now teeming with excitement. It cannot be denied that Chadwick Boseman’s performance as Black Panther in the franchise has left a lasting impact on the minds of the viewers. His tragic death due to cancer at age 43 left an empty space in the hearts of the fandom. After Boseman’s death, Letitia Wright’s Shuri took the helm as the protector of Wakanda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

After the release of Wakanda Forever, in an interview with Variety, Letitia Wright revealed that they needed a “little bit of a break” to “regroup” for the next movie. She also added that they are “excited” for the viewers to see the movie. Now that the official release date of Black Panther 3 has been announced, the eagerness for the movie is rising among the fans with each passing day. The first two movies have done a remarkable job at the box office.

The first movie achieved $1.3 billion at the box office, while Wakanda Forever achieved $859 million after its release. Both movies received multiple awards, including several Oscar nominations.
