The upcoming movie will take a five-year leap following the events of Call My Agent Season 4.
Here's more about it.
Call My Agent! The Movie trailer breakdown
Directed by Emilie Noblet and written by Lison Daniel and Fanny Herrero, Camille Cottin will reprise her role as Andréa, a former talent agent. The trailer opens with Andréa navigating her career change, which proves to be far from easy. With ASK disbanded at the end of Season 4, Andréa is now an aspiring film director.
However, as per the trailer, things turn awry when the lead actor walks out of the feature film for a role in a Wes Anderson film. This apparently leads to a rift between Andréa and the producers. Andréa then turns to Noémi, who is now a successful reality TV producer, believing that she will be easy to manipulate. However, Noémi has plans of her own and believes her experience could help Andréa. Meanwhile, Andréa reconnects with her former colleagues at ASK, often leading to awkward encounters.
With on-set disasters, recasting problems, and a legal battle involving the custody of her daughter, Andréa finds herself in a complicated situation. At the beginning of the trailer, viewers get a glimpse of Mathias (Montalembert), who appears to appreciate Andréa's career change.
Gabriel (Gregory Montel), Hervé (Maury), Camille (Fanny Sidney), and Arlette (Liliane Rovere) are also set to return. According to the synopsis, the returning characters are set to arrive with their 'egos and old grudges', as it states,
"Little do they know what this reunion truly has in store for them."
The trailer features French stars playing themselves, including Laurent Lafitte, Vincent Macaigne, and Laetitia Casta. However, the trailer does not feature a glimpse of either Clooney or Eva Longoria.
