Comedian Gareth Reynolds has taken a jibe at Rob Schneider on Threads, joking in a post after Schneider's tweet from August resurfaced online.
On October 6, 2026, a Threads user (mayes.angela) shared a post featuring a screenshot of Schneider’s X post that said:
“Just a not friendly reminder, Communism is NOT LEGAL in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. It is in fact, a CRIME. Also, attempting to overthrow the government, actively attempting to abolish the Constitution and the Supreme Court is a crime known as Sedition, punishable by death.”
Besides the screenshot of Schneider’s post, the user’s post featured a hundred-point emoji and a clapping hands emoji. Reynolds replied to it and said:
“Making two Deuce Bigalow’s should be punishable by death.”

This isn't the first time Reynolds has called out Rob Schneider; he's targeted him often because of his shift into right-wing politics, his controversial stand-up performances, and his public statements.

Gareth Reynolds jibe at Rob Schneider explored as actor’s Deuce Bigalow post resurfaces
Gareth Reynolds recently took to Threads calling out Rob Schneider for his past X comments. Reynolds mocked his past two Deuce Bigalow movies.
His comment, “making two Deuce Bigalow’s should be punishable by death” indicated that one trash film (the first part of Deuce Bigalow) is still tolerable in comparison to its sequel. The phrase “punishable by death” is Reynolds' comic way of saying the second movie was terrible and that the first film did not justify a franchise.
Schneider’s post from August 2026, which has resurfaced online, makes an anti-communist political warning. He attempts to call out those people he believes want to dismantle the U.S. constitutional system.
Rob Schneider starred in and co-wrote both Deuce Bigalow movies, including Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999) and Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005). Mike Mitchell directed the former, and Mike Bigelow directed the latter.
Both films have received heavy criticism for mocking physical disabilities, medical conditions and physical traits. After Disney released the first movie through Touchstone Pictures, it rejected the second script because of its vulgar content. So, Sony Pictures released it through Columbia Pictures.

The co-host of the popular history-comedy podcast The Dollop once released an episode dedicated to Schneider where he and Dave Anthony tore into the MAGA actor’s career choices. In addition to that, Reynolds frequently shares clips and reactions on The Dollop's social channels mocking Schneider's commentary.
Though Rob Schneider has not officially left acting, he has admitted in interviews that Hollywood projects have bypassed him. This comes amidst his support for US President Donald Trump, his conservative views and anti-vaccine stances.
Speaking on the American Thought Leaders podcast, The Hot Chick star said:
“Show business, wrong or right, they don't want any controversy," he said. "You know, they don't want you being mouthy or anything, and that makes sense, but I do think that at a certain point, if we're going to have a society and if we're going to continue to have a free society, it's going to require people to step up and be courageous.”
He added that show business systematically avoids controversy, leading to the rejection and blacklisting of conservative celebrities. He noted this has happened to figures like Charlton Heston and continues to affect conservative actors. Schneider predicted that due to audiences rejecting traditional Hollywood movies in favor of social media, Los Angeles film studios will essentially “become real estate within five years.”
Schneider is currently touring the United States on his stand-up comedy tour. He has a Netflix film titled Grown Ups 3 lined up and is busy filming the project alongside Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, and David Spade.
