Cyberleek's GTA 6 protest call turns real as fan reportedly arrives at Rockstar North office

As Rockstar Games continues to control the incessant GTA 6 leaks, another problem has popped up. The hacker/leaker Cyberleek encouraged fans to protest outside Rockstar North’s Scotland HQ. It seems one young man has taken this message seriously as he protested outside the location with a raw leek in his hands. This video has gone viral, as people are making fun of him.

The GTA 6 leaks have been pretty divisive, as fans have been hyped for its November release. It should also be noted that the sixth game follows GTA V, which was released back in 2013. Needless to say, the upcoming GTA is one of this year's hotly anticipated games.

A guy went all the way to Rockstar North after Cyberleek asked people to go there and show support.​Imagine being a grown man filming yourself eating a raw leek and yelling “for all the incels” in public because a cybercriminal told you to.

This Monday, Cyberleek released footage of Jason Duval exploring a n**ist colony. At the top of this footage, the leaker had included a message as a watermark encouraging the viewer to protest outside Rockstar and Take-Two’s offices. The young man in the video above took this message seriously, as he eats raw leek after saying, "“Enough is enough, drop the beach leaks for all the incels!” Many are laughing at this young man for taking the instructions of a cybercriminal seriously.

Last week, Rockstar and Take-Two's lawyers tried to find Cyberleek by filing subpoenas at the Southern District Court of New York on August 20, 2026. The petition read:

“The copyrighted material includes but is not limited to audiovisual content, artwork, images, dialogue, or other creative elements. Take-Two, through its counsel of record, has submitted a sworn declaration confirming that the purpose for which the DMCA subpoena is sought is to obtain the identity of an alleged infringer or infringers, and that such information will only be used for the purpose of protecting Take-Two’s rights…”

Meanwhile, Obbe Vermeij, former Rockstar director, believes that these leaks are not a big deal:

Calm down everybody. The leaks are a nothing burger.​As a marketing strategy R* is trying to keep the game under wraps longer than other publishers. All that has happened is that some footage has escaped. Slightly ahead of the Netflix thing next week.​90% of future players don’t spend their time on the internet looking for video snippets. They don’t have the time and don’t want spoilers.​I imagine the teams are a little annoyed about it but not more than that. I was there during Hot Coffee. It was a nightmare for management (R*NewYork) but didn’t affect us (R*North) much. The current leaks are far less consequential than HC was.​It looks like gta6 will be phenomenal and sell for the next 15 years or so. The leaks are just a tiny blip.

This Saturday, Obbe Vermeij, who served as Rockstar North's technical director until 2009, tried downplaying the significance of these leaks. Addressing the continuous GTA 6 leaks, Vermeij asked fans to calm down through his X (formerly Twitter) account:

"Calm down everybody. The leaks are a nothing burger. As a marketing strategy R* is trying to keep the game under wraps longer than other publishers. All that has happened is that some footage has escaped. Slightly ahead of the Netflix thing next week. 90% of future players don’t spend their time on the internet looking for video snippets. They don’t have the time and don’t want spoilers."

Then, he went on to speculate that the developers at Rockstar might be a little annoyed by these leaks, but nothing more than that. Then, he said that these leaks were inconsequential in comparison to the backlash that Hot Coffee received twenty years ago. Describing these leaks as a "tiny blip", he ultimately went on to state the upcoming GTA game will see impressive sales for over a decade.
