President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to share that he has offered UFC boss Dana White the job of Press Secretary of the United States. He wrote:
"Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job!"
However, according to a report by CNN, a source told the media house that Dana White has reportedly refused the White House job offer. The claim remains unverified as of now.
Trump urged the UFC CEO to be the next Press Secretary of the United States. The President also asked the UFC boss to bring assistants with him. The list includes UFC fighters from all over the world. The diverse list contains names such as Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Kayla Harrison, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, and Amanda Nunes. Trump claimed that White and his assistants would help him defend against his opponents.
The President's post came as he continued to search for a new press secretary following Karoline Leavitt's departure. Leavitt served as a press secretary for more than a year and a half and left her role in August, claiming she wanted to spend more time with her family. Later, she also joined Fox News as a contributor. Katie Zachariah took the role but stepped down after five days.
Here's more about it.
Donald Trump urges UFC CEO Dana White to become Press Secretary of the United States

Donald Trump has been making a few changes in his administration. For instance, Stephen Miller, who previously held the position of the deputy Chief of staff, has been promoted to Chief of Staff, days after Republicans faced major losses in midterm elections. The position was previously held by Susie Wiles. Trump has now urged UFC CEO Dana White to be the next Press Secretary of the United States. Trump wrote on Truth Social:
"I am pleased to announce that the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior, has been offered the job of Press Secretary of the United States."
The President urged White to bring UFC athletes to be his assistants. Trump claimed that White and the athletes whose images he shared alongside White would help him defend against his opponents. However, it is still unclear whether the job offer is genuine or not.
According to BBC News, White confirmed that he is going to meet the President on Monday. After Trump posted on Truth Social, White took to Instagram to share a photo of himself in the White House press briefing room. He wrote:
"On to the next chapter."
White, who was in London on Saturday night for a fight between Cheavon Clarke and Chris Billam-Smith at the Copper Box Arena, was asked about Trump's job offer. He said that he was going to fly to Washington on Monday to meet the President. He told the reporters that he had already received offers. White apparently deflected questions about the offer at the news conference. He added:
"I'm sure we'll have something to talk about after that."
However, according to a source quoted by CNN, White had reportedly turned down the Press Secretary job offer. White said he already has several time-consuming commitments. Apart from being the UFC CEO, White has also launched Power Slap, a slap-fighting promotion league, and Zuffa Boxing, a professional promotion company.
