The official trailer for David Leitch's How to Rob a Bank has finally been released. The film's story, as the trailer reveals, is a rather ironical way to go about robbing. You'd expect robbers who rob banks to never have a public life, but these robbers have gone viral on social media.No one knows what they look like, thanks to the masks they wear in their livestreams. However, what they don't know yet is that their online fame has attracted the attention of a veteran FBI agent and a software engineer, who will set out to catch them. How to Rob a Bank trailer reveals that money isn't the only thing the robbers are after The How to Rob a Bank trailer begins with Nicholas Hoult's character telling his viewers that an audience is more powerful than money. He says this as he puts on his black horse mask before asking a cameraman to start rolling. Hoult's character then says that while the chances of people owning a house or earning a six-figure salary are extremely low, those of robbing a bank are extremely high. The How to Rob a Bank trailer then reveals that these robbers are not just any robbers. They livestream their robberies on their channel called How to Rob a Bank. We also learn that these robbers have gained 900 million viewers from streaming 15 bank robberies. The fact that the FBI have still not been able to catch these robbers makes them look incapable of doing their job. Veteran FBI agent, agent West (played by John C. Reilly), then gets ahold of Reagan Gardner (played by Zoë Kravitz), who is a hacker under house arrest. She had created a tracking technology back when her ex-boyfriend had cheated on her. West offers to drop all her charges if she helps the FBI find the robbers. Reagan is sold, and she and West begin investigating and hunting down the robbers. We soon realize that while these robbers are not just robbing banks for money. When West gets too close to catching them, Nicholas Hoult's character holds him at gunpoint. When West says that the robber isn't a murderer, he says,"No I'm not. Banks are. And when they kill someone you love, they don't get a bullet. They get a bonus."Robbing banks thus has a deeper meaning to this group, especially to Hoult's character. We learn from the trailer that the robbers' next target is a bank which is personal to them, and West and Reagan will do everything in their power to catch them in time. However, the trailer also points out in subtle ways that the group's heists aren't just for money. They are trying to show people how corrupt the system is.
