Self-proclaimed absurdist activist and vocal Trump critic Robby Roadsteamer shared the behind-the-scenes video from the U.S. President’s October 28 midterm campaign rally at Shoemaker Center on Ohio University’s Chillicothe campus. His X post was captioned:“Singing The Epstein Plane to Trump at his rally tonite! The raw footage. With the cops pulling me out! (Uncut).”In the 1-minute and 17-second video, Robby Roadsteamer was heard singing:“Trump went on the Jeffrey Epstein plane… Butterscotch sh*tler, pumpkin-spice p*do…”Around the 24-second mark, Robby was seen being escorted out by the police as he continued to chant:“No political violence, we’re all buddies. Aren’t we buddies?”As the crowd continued to protest inside the auditorium, Robby was thrown out, and he asked where he was being taken. As two officers showed him out, he was heard saying:“H*ll yeah! The snakes are all here… Oh, we are bringing me to the guest room. Now we see the violence inherited in the system. Why am I uninvited? I am singing him songs. No, I wanna go back; we were having fun. Such a dreamy night here. Beautiful Ohio, two lovers.”The Trump critic, who boasts 76,000 and 19,400 followers on X and Threads respectively, also shared a picture from the event, captioned:“Just got Trump in Ohio! Sang to him and he saw my finger! Blue wave coming!”Robby Roadsteamer was previously detained by ICE for protesting against TrumpRobby Roadsteamer, whose real name is Robby Potylo, is not only an activist, but also an artist, performer, musician, and comedian. At the time, the video of his arrest captured by fellow protesters went viral. It showed Robby wearing a giraffe costume and a mic, as he mocked ICE officers marching towards him, before two of them grabbed and shoved him to the ground.Additionally, Potylo launched a GoFundMe for his legal fees and claimed he was planning to file a class action lawsuit against ICE. He also claimed to have been “abused” in detention and “triggered” by Renee Nicole Good’s murder to travel to Minnesota and stage a protest. He was released soon after without any charges.During a subsequent interview with The Daily Beast, Potylo claimed that ICE couldn’t handle his singing. He added:“Before they detained me, they had snipers on the roof shooting paper paintballs at me. I got hit in the chest and the groin. I have footage of one of them smiling as he hit me.”The Trump critic also told Boston.com:“These guys are out to send a message. And yeah, if you get under their skin, they will target you. And you know what? Who gives a sh*t? I am representing marginalized people who don’t have a f**king voice in this country, man. I do it for them.”Robby Roadsteamer was also arrested at another demonstration in Portland, Oregon, in October 2025. Back then, he was calling out the Trump administration for its immigration policies. A DHS spokesperson told reporters that Robby was an “attention-starved influencer.”After being released with a trespassing charge, which was later changed to a citation for blocking traffic, Robby Potylo told local reporters that Massachusetts political satirist Vermin Love Supreme was his “mentor” and Dropkick Murphys co-lead vocalist Ken Casey and Merry Pranksters founder and author Ken Kesey were his “inspirations.” Back then, he also launched a GoFundMe to hire a lawyer and sue ICE.In a January video, Robby Roadsteamer claimed he was “assaulted” by ICE agents and hired two attorneys in Portland and Minneapolis, respectively, to “go after ICE.”The Trump protester also appeared on Donie O’Sullivan’s CNN show, Devoted, where he showed off his orange jumpsuit from Hennepin County Jail in Minnesota.“Donald Trump is absurdity. You don’t fight absurdity with valor, you fight it with more absurdity… It’s pageantry. To be honest, middle-class America is more traumatized by animal costumes than they should be about a lot of marginalized f**king people who’re being ripped away from their families and off the street,” Potylo noted.Robby compared himself to gladiators, wrestlers, athletes, and undertakers who “go on” despite not feeling a hundred percent physically, as they have their “adrenaline” and “energy” to take over and carry on the good cause. It remains unclear whether Roadsteamer has ever come face-to-face with Trump.
