The forensic psychologist Dr. John Paul Garrison reportedly explained the reasons behind Donald Trump making strange noises during rally speeches. Dr. Garrison (or Dr. G) said,

"These types of unusual behaviors are expected when someone is experiencing a neurodegenerative disease or when they are having neurological dysfunction."

The doctor explained the reason and said that the president was struggling with motor functioning during the Georgia rally, so he showed strange behaviors. According to the Daily Beast, Dr. G said that the president experienced a slight spasm in his right arm during moments when he was not speaking.

A clinical and forensic psychologist, Dr. John Paul Garrison, had raised questions about Trump's strange behavior during his recent appearances at rallies. The doctor described the president's movements as involuntary and beyond his control.

Dr. G revealed that the president had been experiencing a noticeable decline in both cognitive and physical abilities over the past years. The reported decline appeared to have progressed more rapidly and might have been aggravated by Trump's advanced age. Dr. G mentioned,

"These types of unusual behaviors are expected when someone is experiencing a neurodegenerative disease or when they are having neurological dysfunction."

The doctor explained that these unusual behaviors and movements might indicate the president's growing physical discomfort. The issue appeared more noticeable whenever the focus and attention were directed away from him.

While showing the video of the spasm, Dr. Garrison explained,

"As you can see, President Trump seems to have a distinct spasm on one side."

The doctor added,

"What this could mean is this could be neurodegenerative disease. We could be talking Alzheimer’s, we could be talking Lewy body dementia, you could be talking something like Parkinson’s disease."

Dr. Garrison explained the movements could be a sign of a neurodegenerative condition. He said possible explanations could include Alzheimer's disease, Lewy body dementia, or a neurological disorder like Parkinson's disease. Lewy body dementia is a neurological disorder that affects the brain, can interfere with movement, and can make it difficult for people to concentrate, stay focused, and think clearly.

The doctor also revealed that the spasm could be connected to post-stroke symptoms. He explained that damage to certain parts of the brain could trigger these kinds of movements but added that the behavior being observed appeared distinct and seemed to occur involuntarily.

The doctor further noted that Trump had consistently appeared impatient when other people were speaking and said that this behavior seemed to make the spasms more noticeable.
