Falling In Reverse drop new single with Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian 

American rock band Falling in Reverse has dropped a new song featuring two iconic voices. Titled Joseph, it features guest vocals from System of a Down's Serj Tankian and Slipknot's Corey Taylor. This is the first time that they have collaborated on a song. It is produced by Ronald Joseph Radke and Tyler Smyth. Along with Radke, the song is written by Jason Richardson, Daniel Laskiewicz, and Luke Holland.

The music video, which also features Tankian and Taylor, is directed by Jensen Noen. The song's title, Joseph is derived from Falling in Reverse's lead vocalist, Ronald Joseph Radke's middle name. He is the former frontman of the post-hardcore band Escape the Fate, Ronald Joseph Radke. He was kicked out of the band after he was sentenced to prison in 2008. In prison, Radke formed a band called From Behind These Walls, which later came to be known as Falling in Reverse. Its last year's single, God Is A Weapon, featuring Marilyn Manson, broke several records. It became a massive hit on TikTok with over 350 million streams.

In 2024, the band dropped All My Life which featured Jelly Roll. It debuted as No. 1 across Billboard's rock charts.

Falling in Reverse collabs with Slipknot's Corey Taylor and System of A Down's Serj Tankian

Falling in Reverse is known for iconic collaborations, and this time it has brought together Corey Taylor and Serj Tankian for its latest song Joseph. The track begins with the lyrics:

"They say we're all going to hell for eternity. While they drop their bombs on us from their war machines. Are you ready to die? Are you ready to bleed for me? And now we're out of time."

This maniac metalcore track offers several musical twists, and each vocalist takes their turn to showcase their voice's intensity. The single features falsettos, confrontational howls, and spoken word. The piano-led choir intro snaps into a pulse-spiking beat. It follows Radke's operatic notes as he makes a mock gun sound and intense screams.

This is followed by Taylor's intense growls and a guest verse that teases the political intrigue. If you listen carefully, you can also notice an Escape the Fate reference. Tankian joins with gentle jazz chords and adds a melodic lull to the highly energized track.

Visually, the music video involves a plane crash, a bone mountain made of skeleton and more such gritty sequences. It also features Radke, Taylor, and Tankian singing together. We also get a glimpse of a fierce Radke shooting enemies while riding a motorcycle. In this video, Radke appears both as quasi action hero and a horror movie star.
