George Clooney forced to evacuate as wildfires threaten his French home

The wildfires have forced George Clooney and his family to evacuate their French home. George and his wife, Amal Clooney, have lived at Domaine du Canadel in Brignoles, France, reportedly since 2021. However, the couple with their children, Alexander and Ella, had to leave their home, located in France, as wildfires spread across the region.

According to the BBC, the wildfires that spread across France, Portugal, and Spain have made more than 300k people leave their houses. The outlet also reported that due to the wildfires, more than 200k people had to leave the Gironde region near Bordeaux for their own safety.

The news of the couple evacuating their home was confirmed by George Clooney's spokesperson, who said the couple shared their plans in a letter to the mayor of Brignoles.

But now, he enjoys being back on a farm, driving a tractor, and living a more normal life. According to officials, as reported by The Guardian, the wildfires could continue until early November.

Clooney owns multiple houses across the world, which reportedly include Villa Oleandra in Lake Como, Italy, Domaine du Canadel in Brignoles, France, a home in Sonning Eye, England, and a condo in New York City.

Their other properties across the world could provide them with a place to live until the situation gets under control. However, there is no official update on their current location.
