On August 26, GTA 6 leaker CyberLeek took to social media and told users to "get ready today" for what they claim could be the biggest GTA 6 leak yet. However, CyberLeek did not provide any details about what the alleged leak could be. Additionally, the tweet posted on X (formerly Twitter) doesn't reveal the exact time when gamers can expect the supposed reveal.

The new update has raised the stakes again surrounding GTA VI fans. Additionally, this new update has come almost a week after the gameplay clips and map reportedly leaked.

The gaming warriors that goes by the name CyberLeek uploaded a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) on August 25, stating that the "real bombshell" leak of GTA VI will drop tomorrow, i.e., August 26. Additionally, they also stated that they'll be broadcasting the reveal:

"Instantly in high quality on our Telegram channel."

Around nine hours after the tease, the account uploaded another tweet on X stating that a major GTA 6 leak is coming today, without giving any context or what it is about. The tweet has gotten above four thousand likes in less than four hours of its upload. As of now, no new major footage has been confirmed beyond the warning itself.

A day before announcing the big reveal, CyberLeek also uploaded a tweet saying that:

"These are just small things. 😎 Just wait one more day..."

CyberLeek first showed up in mid-August with a few short GTA VI clips, which quickly gained attention on forums, X, and Telegram. The leaked map reportedly featured five countries, and in the leaks, Jason was also seen playing basketball at his safehouse. The clips mostly show the daytime environment.

Since then, CyberLeek has shared more GTA 6 clips showing Jason doing different things, from playing basketball, using a taser to flying a plane.

However, this is not the first time CyberLeek has teased fans with a GTA 6 leak. On August 24, they made a similar announcement on social media, sharing three posts one after another in time gaps and reminding users that only six hours, and later just 30 minutes, were left until the teased leak.

As reported by Polygon, Take-Two is taking legal action against GTA VI leaker CyberLeek, issuing subpoenas to Microsoft and Discord to find the person's identity. The companies have been asked to hand over account details, IP addresses, and other information by September 4.

GTA VI is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026.
