American YouTuber Max Gilardi, best known for his hotdiggedydemon channel, revealed in a two-hour video titled “A Perfectly Normal Stream” that he is considering euthanasia in Switzerland as he was no longer able to deal with the symptoms of fibromyalgia, including chronic body ache, and a horde of medical bills.During the announcement, Gilardi, 38, also took a dig at Minnesota woman Shiloh Hendrix who launched a GoFundMe to “protect” herself and her family in the face of backlash after she used the n-word on an 8-year-old boy at a public park last year.Around the 29-minute mark, hotdiggedydemon shared the prospect of launching a GoFundMe to raise funds for his euthanasia, but shared his doubt whether anyone would donate:“I found out that being euthanized in Switzerland can cost up to like $17,000. So, now, I feel like I am taking crazy pills here. Uh, like, why is everything being made so difficult for me here? Uh, am I going to have to start a GoFundMe for like $30,000 instead? I was worried that people wouldn't want to give me $10,000.”Max Gilardi continued:“Nobody's going to donate $30,000 to kill a man. Are people going to donate $30,000 to kill a man? You know, if you're a woman on a playground somewhere and you call a child the n-word, they'll give you half a million dollars for that. Gilardi also hosts a show called Brain Dump about him and his gay cartoon ghost lover.Besides YouTube, Max also creates content on Twitch, Patreon, and StreamLabs.Hotdiggedydemon first revealed his fibromyalgia diagnosis in 2024 and has since then reduced the number of videos as his ailment doesn’t allow him to work for long hours.On Saturday, he told his viewers:“After considering every option I could think of, ultimately that solution has taken the form of doctor-assisted euthanasia… If you think dying is expensive, imagine how expensive it would be for me to live for another two to three decades.”He continued:“I’m tired all the time. I spend a lot of my time lying down. I get a lot of bad pain in all my joints and my muscles, ankles, shins, hands, knees, hips, neck. I have a lot of difficulty sleeping.”Max Gilardi shared that the doctors were unable to explain his sudden drooling or difficulty speaking, while he can no longer afford his medical expenses. He claimed that the decision to consider euthanasia came after a “long deliberation” and it appears to be the only and “natural conclusion.”“My existence has become one where I suffer and barely scrape by so I can continue to sustain an existence where I barely scrape by and suffer,” the YouTuber added.While Max Gilardi said euthanasia is legal in Switzerland, the New York Post reported that it is banned in the country. Instead, it allows assisted suicide.Max Gilardi’s announcement earned him harsh criticism online. On Sunday, he wrote on X:“Decided I’m not thinking clearly, will reassess.”For those unaware, Shiloh Hendrix is a white woman from Rochester who was found guilty of two counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct at a jury trial in an Olmstead County Courthouse on July 23, after a three-day deliberation.On the day of the incident in April 2025, Hendrix accused the boy of stealing from her 18-month-old son’s diaper bag and used the racial slur at Soldiers Field Memorial Park.The moment was captured by a Black man named Sharmake Omar, who later told NBC News that the boy is autistic and he knew him and his family personally. When confronted by Sharmake, Shiloh asked him to “Mind your own f**king business.” Later, the Rochester Police Department investigated the matter, which in turn led to the trial.Last month, Shiloh Hendrix received a 90-day suspended prison sentence, a 1,000 fine, and 200 hours of community service. She was originally charged last August with three counts, one of which was dropped in March 2026. She pleaded not guilty to all the charges.Even before being prosecuted and amid Sharmake Omar’s viral video, Shiloh Hendrix’s GoFundMe titled “Help Me Protect My Family” raised $800,000.
