Even though her death itself came as a shock, it was no surprise that she had been suffering from health conditions over the years. The Home Alone actress was diagnosed with a rare congenital disease called cardiac inversus, or dextrocardia with situs inversus.In an interview in 2021, the legendary actress said,“I’m a freak, yeah! I love Western medicine, I just don't want to be a part of it."Catherine O’Hara was known for iconic roles in films like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Monster House, Where the Wild Things Are, Beetlejuice, Home Alone, and the CBC Television sitcom Schitt's Creek.
