His wife, Margarita Aaron, has shared a positive health update with TMZ, stating that The Blind Side actor is showing signs of improvement. She told the outlet that he's partially breathing on his own while on life support. She added that he has opened his eyes with a thumbs-up gesture.

Aaron has been in the hospital for the past four days since he collapsed after experiencing severe neck pain. The doctors are still running tests as they have not confirmed the root cause of the blood infection. His wife described the 41-year-old as a “fighter” and added:
“He's showing a lot of improvement. We all have faith in God that he will walk out of here fully recovered.”
Aaron famously starred alongside Sandra Bullock in the 2009 blockbuster, The Blind Side. His recent health scare from a severe blood infection has drawn public attention to his family.

Quinton Aaron was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1984. He was born to Laura Aaron, an author, playwright, and poet who is known for publishing the short-story collection Leave Me Alone in 2008. Not many details are revealed about his father.
He attended elementary school in New York City before moving to Augusta, Georgia for further opportunities. While growing up, his family struggled financially. He was bullied due to his increased weight, glasses, and appearance during his childhood.
Reports stated that Quinton Aaron’s mother told him about The Blind Side auditions after she came across a notice online that described a large young man for the role of Michael Oher. He eventually landed the role after the audition. His mother had been a huge support throughout his career and never doubted his acting success.

In an interview, he shared that his mother told him to believe in himself. He said:
“One of the last things she told me about it was that it doesn't matter whatever is going on right now – there's no way they're going to do that movie without me.”

The fundraiser has been organized by the Veterans Aid Network, a non-profit launched in January 2025. It has raised $35,422 toward a goal of $35,000 and has received donations from 349 people.
Quinton Aaron has remained married to his wife, Margarita, since December 2024 after meeting her on TikTok. In an interview with Hello magazine, he has described her as his "confidant and shelter" in difficult times. He does not have any children of his own.
