Billie Eilish recently faced criticism.

After her Grammy Awards speech, in which she wore an 'ICE Out' pin and said that no one is illegal on what is stolen land, many have shared their opinions.

Among her critics is Drew Pavlou, an Australian right-wing influencer, who, just after Eilish made her speech, joked that he would like to move into her LA Mansion, which is on stolen ancestral land of the Tongva tribe, since she states that no human being is illegal on stolen land. Drew Pavlou even went so far as to set up a GoFundMe page for his joke move to Eilish's mansion.

Now, however, in an X page post, Pavlou claims that Eilish had him deported over his joke about her LA mansion:

"Billie Eilish got me deported from the US - I think her legal team contacted DHS I spent 30 hours at LAX immigration trying to explain that my shit posts were just a joke and that I didn’t actually plan to personally move into her mansion."

The influencer continued:

"Honestly most of the agents were nice and laughed at the idea but there was nothing I could do, maybe evil leftists are still in charge of sections of the bureaucracy I guess some people are in fact actually illegal on stolen land And I guess I am just a BAD GUY…. Honestly I am legitimately one of the most misunderstood theorists/artists of the 21st century."

Pavlou followed up his allegation against Billie Eilish with another tweet in which he revealed more details on what happened. He was apparently asked questions about his Eilish mansion joke, as well as his previous arrest in the UK, and turned away for not having the proper visa. He was asked to return with a different visa. Pavlou has not been banned from the US:

As of the writing of this article, Billie Eilish has not responded to this allegation by Pavlou. Pavlou was not the only one who went to Eilish's LA mansion after her statement, with GB News Journalist doing the same.

Tongva tribe issued a statement to Fox News about Billie Eilish's LA Mansion move

Following Billie Eilish's speech at the Grammy Awards, Fox News released a statement from a representative of the Tongva tribe, with the tribe expressing its appreciation for public figures like the singer shining a light on the history of North America. They also expressed hope that she would be open about her home being in the Gabrieleno Tongva territory:

"We appreciate the opportunity to provide clarity regarding the recent comments made by Billie Eilish. As the First People of the greater Los Angeles basin, we do understand that her home is situated in our ancestral land. Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property, we do value the instance when Public Figures provide visibility to the true history of this country."

The statement continues:

"We have reached out to her team to express our appreciation for her comments. It is our hope that in future discussions, the tribe can explicitly be referenced to ensure the public understands that the greater Los Angeles basin remains Gabrieleno Tongva territory."

Billie Eilish specifically spoke about how she found it difficult to react to the situation, and how people needed to keep fighting and protesting against ICE, pointing out that all of America was stolen from the First Peoples.

Billie Eilish was not the only one to speak out against ICE and the anti-immigration drive currently going on in the US, with Joni Mitchell, Hailey Bieber, Justin Bieber, as well as Bad Bunny, Olivia Dean, and more all speaking out against it.
