Influencer Alana Alves Da Silva among 7 dead in crash while fleeing police with 300 pounds of marijuana

Alana Alves da Silva died on August 8 at the age of twenty-eight. She was among seven people who lost their lives in a highway crash while trying to flee police in a vehicle. The car the Brazilian influencer was in was reportedly carrying three hundred pounds of marijuana.

According to reports, the incident took place on August 8, when the car had traveled around six miles along BR-251. As reported by People, the driver attempted to pass four vehicles by moving to the opposite lane. The car crashed into another vehicle, which is reported to be a GM Astra, that was traveling on the road in Salinas, Minas Gerais.

Alana Alves Da Silva, who was known by the name Vampira 085, was popular on social media. She had nearly 60000 followers on Instagram. And along with being an influencer, she was also the owner of a clothing brand named Latina Fitness, which she frequently promoted on her own accounts.

Alana Alves da Silva was reportedly riding in a Fiat Cronos on August 8 with Pedro Yan Linhares Gutierrez, Ramon Silverio Nogueira, and a woman, whose identity has not been disclosed as of now. Reports identified Gutierrez as twenty-four, Nogueira as nineteen, and the woman as twenty years old. According to People, Gutierrez was driving the car.

The other car, Astra, which was involved in the accident, also carried four people. The people in the car were identified as Argemiro Machado da Silva, Valmir Machado da Silva, Alcides Silva Santos, and Gilmar Bispo dos Santos. All four people who were present in the car couldn't survive the crash. Nogueira, Alana Alves Da Silva, and Gutierrez also lost their lives in the crash.

According to reports, the twenty-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital for treatment. However, her name has not been revealed as of now, keeping her identity private. She has reportedly suffered fractures and brain injuries.

When checking the Fiat Cronos, authorities found 164 packages containing marijuana, with the total weight coming to about 302 pounds.

The Municipal City Hall of Ruy Barbosa also shared a post about the accident on Instagram, mentioning that the victims included four people from the city: Alcides Silva Santos, Gilmar Bispo dos Santos, Valmir Machado da Silva, and Argemiro Machado da Silva. The post also offered support to the families during the difficult time.

As the investigation continues, more details about the crash and the people involved are coming forward. As per the reports, police have said that Gutierrez, who was twenty-four years old, did not have a valid driver's license when the crash happened. He was also wearing an electronic ankle monitor, which is used to track a person's location. Additionally, reports say that he had been involved in drug-related cases in the past.

So far, Alana Alves Da Silva's family has not released any public statement. It is also unclear how the marijuana was connected to the four people who were in the car at the time of the crash or if anyone else was involved. The case remains under investigation, with more details expected to be released as it moves forward.
