Travis Scott, as per The Hollywood Reporter, is the latest celebrity to be apparently linked to an alleged smear campaign machine inside Hollywood.Court exhibits viewed by the publication reportedly show that Travis Scott's manager working against an unnamed opponent with a group of individuals within the entertainment industry, specifically by looking for discrediting information about said opponent, to be posted to something called a 'ghost platform'.The same individuals were also allegedly responsible for attacking those opposed to Rebel Wilson with online smear campaigns. The individuals allegedly carried out smear campaigns against those antagonistic towards Scooter Braun and wellness influencer Andrew Huberman as well. The reported exhibit in question is a 2024 redacted group chat featuring Melissa Nathan, a crisis advisor, Jed Wallace (digital fixer) and an unnamed third party which first became a exhibit earlier in 2026 .The Hollywood Reporter has reportedly learned that the third party in that exhibit is none other than David Stromberg, the aforementioned manager of Travis Scott. Redactions reportedly also hid obscure references to Astroworld and some unnamed charges being dropped.Redactions from the group chat apparently has Stromberg refer to the others as his 'dream team'. Stromberg allegedly asks for a rate for Melissa Nathan, Jade Wallace and Bryan Freedman, a prominent entertainment lawyer and litigator, for someone he only refers to as 'him.'Nathan allegedly responded to Stromberg in the group chat with a plan that involves labeling accusors open to out of court settlements as extortionists. The plan, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, involved the overseeing of a forensics team to dig up intelligence on the opponent, and then using said intelligence to point friendly reporters towards the ghost platform. The plan reportedly detailed in the group chat messages by Melissa Nathan also involved ensuring that the messaging on digital platforms were in favour of their client, as well as the restoration of relationships with domestic and international law enforcement as well as other legal entities. Nathan reportedly later also texted about getting the mention of Astroworld removed from the publication TMZ.The Hollywood Reporter's article mentions that the publication has learned that Melissa Nathan and Jed Wallace were involved in the management of PR fallout in the aftermath of the disaster in Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival back in 2021.The above report by The Hollywood Reporter comes after the publication published a leaked audio file that has Jed Wallace allegedly providing instructions to Melissa Nathan to insinuate without evidence that Amanda Ghost works as a s*x trafficker, procuring women for Blavatnik as part of Rebel Wilson's alleged smear campaign against Ghost.
