Paul Walker's brother, Cody Walker, is facing backlash after he said AI could be used to recreate Brian. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, he said that Paul Walker's unused footage from the Fast films can be used to recreate the character.

Paul Walker played the role of Brian O'Conner in Fast & Furious, where he appeared alongside Vin Diesel. In November 2013, he was involved in a car accident, which led to his death. Later, his brothers Cody and Caleb helped complete the scenes of the Fast & Furious 7 production.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Cody said he would leave the decision up to Meadow Walker. He added that he "would not be interested in doing that again" and also mentioned that if she wanted to see Brian return, the filmmakers could use AI along with years of unused footage of Paul Walker.

But he agreed under three conditions, including returning to street racing, bringing the franchise back to L.A., and reuniting Brian and Dom.

Earlier this week, speaking of Fast & Furious and Paul Walker's character, his brother Cody told Entertainment Weekly that he would leave the decision up to Meadow Walker but personally wouldn't want to do it again because he feels Brian already had a "beautiful" ending. He pointed out that the character wasn't killed but simply moved on with his life and was left "raising his kids."

He added that if Meadow wanted to see Brian return, they wouldn't need him or Caleb, as the filmmakers could use AI, which was not a thing in 2014, along with years of unused footage of Paul Walker from the Fast & Furious films. He ended his statement by saying:

"They’re the best in the business, they can figure that out."
