Former kickboxer and social media personality Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were taken into federal custody in Miami, Florida, on July 18 and are awaiting extradition to Britain for trial.Andrew, 39, complained about housing conditions at the detention facility he is at, over the weekend, writing on X:“I am in Special Housing Unit (SHU). My water faucet is broken. I am not allowed bottles of water in SHU. I have nothing clean to drink. My only water comes from the shower, warm and from a brown and filthy faucet. It has given me persistent stomach problems. The water I am drinking is not clean; I am an American. Innocent until proven guilty. But I am forced to drink poisoned water. Where are my rights?”The Tate brothers are facing charges of r*pe, assault, possession of child p*rnography, and human trafficking in the U.K.Andrew Tate is facing merciless mockery in the wake of his post. May God bless these American heroes.”All about Tristan and Andrew Tate’s ongoing legal battleEarlier this month, Tristan and Andrew Tate were arrested by U.S. Marshals under a sealed warrant and sent into federal detention.Meanwhile, the U.K. Crown Prosecution Service announced they wanted the brothers to be extradited and face trial for nearly 60 felony charges, including seven counts of r*pe, three counts of s*x trafficking, three counts of assault with bodily harm, and 19 counts of child p*rnography. Additional charges from last year are also part of the case.Their attorneys will challenge the extradition in a Miami courtroom on July 27 in front of U.S. Magistrate Lauren Louis. According to News Nation Now, the Tate brothers will not attend the hearing, which will also cover bond hearing and filing deadlines, besides the formal extradition appeal.Tristan and Andrew Tate have both U.S. and U.K. citizenship. At least seven women, including Canadian influencer and political activist Lauren Southern, are now accusing them of abuse, dating back to 2010-2017, as they continue to deny the allegations.While several MAGA personalities have shown public support for the brothers, the White House has said that the Tates wouldn’t receive any help from President Trump related to their extradition.Andrew Tate and his brother have previously faced similar charges in the USA, Romania, and Canada, but are yet to face trial.
