Marvel has dropped a mysterious new Avengers: Doomsday poster with Doctor Doom walking at the centre and three other characters behind him. The leading Gen-Z digital media publisher Pubity posted the poster on its Instagram profile. The publisher revealed that Doctor Doom is walking down the steps of his throne, while three masked Latverian witches stand behind him under a glowing green stained glass window.

Comic Book Movie mentioned that Doctor Doom is set to have strong support in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. The reason is that the new post-credits scenes from Avengers Endgame: Encore showed the ruler of Latveria bringing Bruce Banner into his ranks. Co-director Joe Russo said,

"I think what we could say is, Banner is certainly involved in the story that revolves around Doom."

He added,

"We will not confirm nor deny his appearance in Doomsday."

The upcoming Avengers movie is expected to include more than three of these characters, but their true identities remain hidden. Fans have been speculating that Scarlet Witch, Clea, or Sylvie could be among them.

Avengers: Doomsday poster unveiled Doctor Doom at the center

San Diego Comic-Con Málaga is happening from October 1 to October 4 this year in Spain, and before the event, Avengers: Doomsday had released a new international poster. The mysterious poster featured Doctor Doom in his throne room with three of his Latverian witches in the background.

The film is expected to introduce more than three of these mysterious sorcerers, though the identities behind their masks remain unknown. Fans are speculating that one of them could be the Scarlet Witch while several other options could be possible.

As per the recent leak, one Witch may be revealed as a shape-shifter who disguises herself as Peggy Carter to deceive Steve Rogers. Other theories suggest that Clea and Sylvie Laufeydottir could also appear.

Speculations explored: Who are these Latverian witches shown in the new poster of Avengers: Doomsday?

The mysterious poster has revealed three witches wearing green, purple, and orange costumes. Some fans believe that the colors may represent separate timelines or universes and Doctor Doom might have recruited the Latverian witches from other realities before the events of Doomsday.

Fans are considering another theory that the Latverian witches could be Clea, Wanda, the Ancient One, or Mordo. Their costume colors may hint at different universes, but the speculation that Doom recruited them from the Dark Dimension is adding weight to the theory. If these witches stand with Doom, the Avengers may have little chance to win the war in Avengers: Doomsday.

These witches might have hidden identities as the reveal was clearly designed to surprise the audience. Wanda seems a strong candidate either as the Scarlet Witch herself or as a variant version. If one of the witches is Scarlet's variant, then she might have a connection with Magneto from the X-Men universe.

Doom could easily bring characters from any universe at any moment because the story involves multiverses, time travel, and timelines. Therefore, Wanda's inclusion in the film becomes logical. Clea also fits the role while the Ancient One is another possibility. Agatha is a natural choice as well, whether in her original form or as a variant.
