Meet The Devil's Mouth cast whose cave adventure becomes a fight for survival

Prime Video's latest thriller, The Devil's Mouth, was released on July 29. The movie, starring Kathryn Newton and Lana Condor, revolves around a group of friends who take the more dangerous path with their guide, hoping to explore the Thailand caves and have fun.

However, they soon come face-to-face with a bull shark inside the cave, which kills them one by one, leaving only one friend alive in the end. With a runtime of one hour and forty-six minutes, the movie keeps its focus on survival as the friends try to trick the bull shark. While the cast is small, the movie makes good use of its characters, keeping the story interesting throughout.

1) Kathryn Newton as Sara

The two-time Young Artist Award winner, Kathryn Newton, plays the character of Sara in The Devil's Mouth. Newton is famous for her roles in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, Big Little Lies, and Freaky.

Her character, Sara, is the best friend of Max and one of the friends in the group. She is the first one to realize that something is wrong inside the Thailand cave. While she seems a little afraid at first, as the movie progresses, viewers see her as a brave and fearless friend who can go to any lengths for survival, even if she has to put herself at risk for her friends.

2) Lana Condor as Max

The two-time Teen Choice Award nominee Lana Condor plays the character of Max, Sara's best friend, in the Prime Video movie. Condor's famous projects include To All the Boys I've Loved Before, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Evergreen.

She is another main member of the friend group who wants to just enjoy life and have fun. She is also the one who convinces her friends to take a rougher cave path, which leads them into trouble. Deep down, she doesn't want to be left alone and cares for the people she loves.

3) Nico Hiraga as James

Nico Hiraga is famous for his role in Moxie, Booksmart, Rosaline, and The Power. In The Devil's Mouth, he plays the character James, who is the boyfriend of Max.

Hiraga also delivers one of the movie's most emotional moments when his character asks his friends to leave him behind after getting stuck under the water. Additionally, he also has to deal with arguments with his girlfriend, who decides to follow her own plan, even though it seems dangerous.

4) Gavin Casalegno as Greg

The winner of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, Gavin Casalegno, is famous for The Summer I Turned Pretty, Walker, and Queen of the Ring. He plays the character Greg, Adrienne's boyfriend.

While he seems a bit carefree at first, after facing the danger, he becomes more practical and serious due to the situation. He is the first member of the group to become the bull shark's target and is killed.

5) Tommi Rose as Adrienne

The Sweet Magnolias star, Tommi Rose, plays the character of Adrienne in Prime Video's movie. Her other famous works include Outer Banks, Catch a Killer, and Will Trent.

Similar to her boyfriend, Greg, Adrienne is also adventurous and loves trying new things. Throughout the movie, The Devil's Mouth, she is seen happily taking photos with her friends while exploring the cave. However, after the group finds itself in danger, she becomes terrified, and one wrong move leads her straight into the water, where she is killed by the bull shark.
