This is unbelievable… My daughter has mental health issues,” Heather Thompson Day was heard saying. When she was told that she couldn’t contact her three children for 91 days according to the emergency protective order, Ms. Day spiralled further and said she has her own attorney and wanted to get in touch with her mother.Heather Thompson Day was also informed that she couldn’t stalk, communicate, or commit any acts of family violence, or she’d be charged with violating the EPO. The woman was also informed that she must stay an additional 48 hours after posting bond as mandated by the state.Exploring the circumstances surrounding Heather Thompson Day’s arrestOn September 24, Heather Thompson Day and her husband Seth Michael Day, both aged 39, were arrested by the Keene Police Department in Texas after their 14-year-old daughter’s high school teacher contacted the authorities about visible injury marks to her head and face.Heather has been charged with injury to a child by omission, while Seth is facing a single count of first-degree s****l assault of a minor and another count of injury to a child, first-and-third-degree felonies, respectively.
