Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew trailer details: A breakdown
In the following scene, Beatrice Campbell's Polly Plummer and David McKenna's Digory Kirke appear, wondering whether Uncle Andrew Ketterly is mad after a sheet uncovers the wardrobe. Digory tells Polly that their mother called Uncle Andrew a magician. The two children are left curious, and they sneak into a forbidden room. They locate Uncle Andrew's magical laboratory and find a golden ring.
Uncle Andrew tells Digory that he is a magician and asks him to wear the ring to experience magic himself. As Digory puts on the ring, the objects in the laboratory magically begin to float. The scene cuts to the children exploring Infinity Woods as they discover there are other worlds. However, when Digory touches a certain magical object before Polly can stop him, Emma Mackey's Jadis, the White Witch, appears and creepily tells them,
"Come to me, my power."
She jumps down in her metallic dress and sparkly eye shadow. She uses her colorful wand to cast spells. In the background, viewers can hear Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. A winged horse carrying the children leaps into the air.
In another scene, Carey Mulligan's character appears as she says magic is everywhere.
In the end, Polly and Digory watch a magical sky as the iconic lion Aslan (voiced by Meryl Streep) appears, and a voice says,
"Have you ever seen a world born?"
Hidden details from Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew trailer
Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew, and here are some hidden details that one should not miss.
The wardrobe does not appear in C.S. Lewis' novel

The trailer opens with the iconic wardrobe from The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Someone removes the green, dusty cover, and the wardrobe door opens on its own. Interestingly, the wardrobe is not present in the original C.S. Lewis book, The Magician's Nephew. According to What's On Netflix, the book mentions that the wardrobe was made from a tree that grew from a magical Narnian apple.
Daniel Craig's Uncle Andrew Ketterly introduces magic rings to Polly and Digory

In the trailer, after Polly and Digory discover Uncle Andrew's hidden magical laboratory, he gives them magic rings that are capable of transporting them to different worlds. Once the children wear the rings, they are transported to a mystical forest. As per What's on Netflix, the children are trapped in the Wood Between the Worlds. Digory mistakenly holds something that wakes Jadis.
The children enter the world of Charn, the home of Jadis. When they arrive in Charn, Jadis appears in a glittery glam dress, and we get a glimpse of her colorful wand.
Jadis travels to London

In her thirst for absolute power, Jadis travels to London. She tracks down Polly and Digory. The trailer shows Jadis using magic to cause devastation. She is seen riding a horse on the streets of London as she unleashes her evil powers. Interestingly, in the novel, Jadis was unable to use her powers on Earth.
Inklings Easter Egg

As Jadis causes major destruction, a hidden Easter Egg in the background appears, which many might have missed. Viewers can catch a glimpse of the pub The Eagle and Child, which is a direct reference to J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis' literary group called the Inklings. It turns out the Inklings regularly met in this particular pub in Oxford, England.
Polly and Digory's winged horse is special

In the trailer, Polly and Digory ride a winged horse. According to What's on Netflix, the horse originated as a cab horse called Strawberry. It turns out Aslan gave Strawberry the gift of speech and the ability to fly, and renamed it Fledge. Aslan declared him to be the ancestor of all winged horses in Narnia. Fledge flies Digory and Polly to the magical garden to pick the enchanted apple to help Digory's ill mother.

One can also catch a glimpse of Jadis turning into the White Witch.
The creation of Narnia

What stands out in the trailer is the arrival of Aslan, followed by the magical creation of Narnia. The sky turns into warm colors and deep purples, and in the end, the trailer wraps up with the lion's roar. Truly iconic, isn't it?
