Disney has now taken up a new strategy to ace the game of streaming, starting with making Percy Jackson and the Olympians available on Netflix. It cannot be denied that there are an array of streaming services with a huge amount of content being produced simultaneously.

To grab the attention of viewers, new approaches have to be taken, and Disney is already on its way to make it happen. However, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is not the only series that is finding another home on Netflix. Here are the details of the new strategy that Disney has taken on.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians and more are set to arrive on Netflix

According to a report by Variety, Disney Entertainment has joined hands with the global streaming giant, Netflix, for a new contract through which some of its projects will be made available for streaming on Netflix for a certain period of time. However, this contract is a nonexclusive deal. One of the most significant projects that heads to the global streaming giant is Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

Though the first two seasons of this Disney+ original series have made a significant positive impact on the viewers, through this new licensing agreement, the series will be able to get exposure to the huge number of audiences that the global streaming giant has. This will undeniably create a significant opportunity to promote the series before it drops its third season on November 20.

After an intriguing second season with multiple twists and turns, viewers have been eager to find out more about the challenges that Percy will face. Besides Percy Jackson and the Olympians, this new deal will also bring in Will Trent on the global streaming giant. Viewers will be able to stream Will Trent Seasons 1-4 on Netflix from November 3. It will also create a path for the series to get a new audience before the release of its fifth season, which is set to arrive next year.

After Tracker releases its fourth season on October 4, the first three seasons of the series will also be available for streaming on the other platform, according to the report. Besides Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Will Trent, and Tracker, some of the other projects that this licensing deal is bringing in for Netflix are all five movies of Ice Age, Shifting Gears Seasons 1 and 2, Elio, Raya and the Last Dragon, Soul, Army Wives, This Is Us, Felicity, etc.

The Ice Age movies already have a huge fan base. Through this new deal, the movies will also get significant promotion before the sixth movie, Ice Age: Boiling Point’s release on February 5 next year.
