Yesterday, the president attended the Kentucky rally before the midterm election. After he addressed the protesters, he started to tell a story about encountering football coach Jon Gruden while meeting with Ohio Republican Jon Husted. He revealed that while he was in a meeting with Husted, he had seen Gruden standing beside Husted and had then examined Husted's backside. The president admitted:

"I never did that. No, I never did that with a man before."

He added,

"I examined his a*s, and then I looked at his shoulders. I looked at his feet. I looked at his hand. I looked at his jawline. Studying. He's got a jawline."

Trump then said that he patted Husted on the shoulder and felt it was as hard as steel and also joked that his hand was still recovering from the impact. The president remarked that Husted has a strong chance of defeating what he described as a very weak opponent, a senator who had already failed in the past.

Why, according to Donald Trump, did Jon Gruden go there?

During the rally, the president recalled that he asked Gruden about the reason for his visit. According to the president, Gruden answered that he was there to support his teammate, Jon Husted. Trump revealed that he was surprised and asked Gruden whether Husted had played football. The president added,

“I was like, ‘Jon, why are you here?’ ‘I'm here for my teammate.’ ‘Oh, who's your teammate?’ ‘Jon Husted’.”

He added,

“I said, ‘He played football?’ ‘Played football. He was great. We won the championship. He was one of the best players on the team.'”

The president also revealed that Jon Husted had served as lieutenant governor of Ohio for many years and had earned respect from everyone while remaining a humble man. He mentioned that he had met Husted only three or four days earlier.
