A new Avengers: Doomsday rumor is making rounds across the internet that explains why many leaks and rumors have suggested that Wanda is on Doom's side. It should be noted that we don't know if Elizabeth Olsen is indeed returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Doomsday. But Olsen could be keeping her role a secret like Andrew Garfield did, back in 2021.However, as the movie is just a month and a half away from its release date, we can expect to get answers in the theaters or official confirmations. But if the rumor is to be believed, the Wanda we might see in Avengers: Doomsday is not from Earth-616.The Wanda in Avengers: Doomsday might be from Earth-838:The Avengers: Doomsday rumor | Image Via: X/x.comA fan account on X (formerly Twitter) posted a rumor that Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., is married to Earth-838 Wanda Maximoff. This means that the Billy and Tommy Maximoff from Earth-838 are Doom's biological children. If you remember, we have seen the Earth-838 Wanda in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as the woman whom the 616 Scarlet Witch possessed, and whose body killed off most of the Illuminati. There is only one thing that disproves this rumor, and it is a scene from the last Avengers: Doomsday trailer. The second trailer that was released online on the day of D23 begins with Sue Storm describing Doom as a smart and kind man a long time ago. This line would work only if Robert Downey Jr.'s Doom were from Earth-828, the same Earth we saw last summer in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Therefore, the idea that Doom is married to the Earth-838 Wanda sounds a bit strange. Will the Earth-616 Wanda return to the MCU?Elizabeth Olsen as the 616 Wanda | Image Via: YouTube/Marvel EntertainmentWe last saw the Earth-616 Wanda in 2022's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which ended with Mount Wundagore collapsing on Wanda. Since then, both Agatha All Along and VisionQuest, the two projects in the WandaVision trilogy, have stated that 616 Wanda Maximoff is dead. But we never saw Wanda's remains in Multiverse of Madness. Therefore, Doom might have somehow imprisoned and brainwashed 616 Wanda into siding with him. We know that Avengers: Doomsday has three Latverian Witches aiding Doom. Many believe that one of these witches is Wanda Maximoff. But this is just a fan theory at this point. Actress Elizabeth Olsen was asked about returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Her response was:“I know nothing. I know about VisionQuest because I've seen Paul [Bettany] in the last six months and I know nothing about any of it. Is that (Secret Wars) what happens after this (Doomsday) day? I am not kidding. I don't know what's going on. It's safer for me to not know anything because then I can't make a mistake in a situation like this. I would rather know nothing.”What do we know about the Latverian Witches? View this post on Instagram Instagram PostWe know very little about the Latverian Witches in Doomsday, but we know that there are three of them, who are loyal to Doom. Apart from that, we know nothing about their role. It should be noted that despite all the leaks, Marvel has kept a lot of details about the upcoming Avengers movie under wraps. All we know about it is that the main plotline of Doomsday revolves around incursions. The official logline of the movie reads:"'Avengers: Doomsday' follows beloved heroes from three distinct universes as they’re set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered."Do you think that the Scarlet Witch is in Doomsday?
