In 2023, Mackenzie Shirilla was convicted of murdering her then boyfriend Dominic Russo and their friend Davion Flanagan in a vehicular accident and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences. The crime had occurred on July 31, 2022, when Shirilla was driving her Toyota Camry with Dominic and Davion in the car and had crashed it into a wall at 5:30 am in Strongsville, Ohio.Mackenzie Shirilla is currently at the Ohio Reformatory for Women serving two life sentences and will be eligible for parole after 15 years. However, her chances of getting parole seem to be slim as new prison records reveal repeated rule violations in 36 conduct reports.Mackenzie Shirilla new prison records show she has been breaking rules and participating in inappropriate activitiesMackenzie Shirilla might be in prison, but that has allegedly not stopped her from breaking rules. Her behavior in the first fifteen years of her sentence is a big factor that will determine if she will be released on parole. Besides, her legal team has been consistently trying to appeal to the court to revisit the case, as they believe there was not enough evidence to convict Shirilla. As WKYC reports, prison records show that 36 conduct reports have been filed against Mackenzie Shirilla, out of which she has been found guilty of 32 of them. If Shirilla keeps behaving like this, her chances of getting parole or getting her case reheard will go down significantly. These violations include not being where she is supposed to be within the prison premises, ignoring orders, breaking rules, and possessing contraband. According to WKYC, a search of her prison cell has allegedly revealed"homemade jewellery, tons of glitter, paint, altered clothing and other property prison rules prohibited."in Mackenzie's possession. Strangely, she also allegedly had medication in her possession that was prescribed to someone else and a picture of her using drugs. It is strange because the picture of her using drugs paints her in a bad light, something no one in her place would want since whether she will get parole or not largely depends on her behavior in prison. What's more shocking is her video visitation violations. As WKYC also reported, "Prison records allege Shirilla exposed her breasts during the call while an unauthorized person appeared on camera naked, and records show she was found guilty of consensual sexual conduct with another incarcerated person in the prison."While it is not unheard of incarcerated individuals being in romantic relationships, it is not usual for someone to outright engage in sexual activity (consensual or not) on camera. If all these alleged reports are true, Mackenzie Shirilla is getting farther away from the chance of getting parole or getting her case revisited in court, something her lawyers are desperately trying to make happen. It is yet to be known where this case heads to next. Stay tuned for more updates. For more articles like this, follow Soapcentral.
