Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who has been a long-time friend of the Beckham family in an interview with The Sun on February 13, defended Victoria and David Beckham. Ramsay's comments come after Victoria and David Beckham's son, Brooklyn Beckham, issued an Instagram statement last month where he called his parents "controlling" and mentioned that they have been "disrespectful" to his wife, Nicola Peltz.

Following Ramsay's comments, Brooklyn has unfollowed the famed chef on social media platforms. When asked about Brooklyn's allegations against his parents, Gordon Ramsay reacted saying,

"Victoria is upset, and (has) every right to be upset. We were there at the wedding. There was nothing salacious. There was nothing inappropriate. Everyone was having fun (and) having a dance."

In his Instagram statement, Brooklyn had accused his mother of ruining his first dance with Nicola Peltz at their wedding by dancing inappropriately on him. When asked if Victoria was grinding on her son at the wedding, Ramsay denied and said,

"No! Nothing of the sort. It was son. I've seen firsthand just how good parents they are."

Gordon Ramsay hopes Beckham family drama to die down

While discussing the Beckham family drama, Gordon Ramsay mentioned that he hopes that the drama between the parents and their son dies down,

"There's bound to be some form of clash. But the relationship with David and Brooklyn is very, very deep, and I know how much David loves Brooklyn. I think it's only going to be a matter of time before Brooklyn looks at himself and understands just what his parents mean to him.

Ramsay also mentioned that it's hard to reconcile when Brooklyn is "infatuated" with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and is not able to understand his parents. Ramsay also claimed that Brooklyn is "desperate to forge his own way" and that he respects Brooklyn for trying to have his independent voice."'

On January 19, Brooklyn Beckham shared a scathing statement mentioning that he "does not want to reconcile" with his family and is choosing to stand up for himself "for the first time" in his life. Brooklyn accused his parents of trying to sabotage his relationship with his then girlfriend and now wife, Nicola Peltz.

While Brooklyn is engaged in a feud with his parents, it's unclear about what relationship he holds with his siblings. Brooklyn's sister, Harper Seven Beckham, took to her Instagram stories to dedicate a tribute to her brothers on Valentine's Day.
