White House Communications Advisor and Special Assistant to the President Margo Martin shared a video of Trump from a recent press conference that is now going viral for a different reason.

“@POTUS discusses changing the name from Artificial Intelligence to Super Intelligence,” Martin’s clip was captioned.

However, social media sleuths observed the U.S. President’s awkward stance in the video. Later, U.S. media outlets, including The New Republic, called it a “knock-kneed fashion.”

Popular independent journalist Aaron Rupar also weighed in and reposted the video with the caption:

“Trump is standing like no human has ever stood before.”

Author, comedian, and podcast host Ian Thomas Malone commented underneath Aaron Rupar’s post.

“In ballet, that's called the 45th position,” Ian joked.

Neither Margo Martin nor the White House has addressed the topic. The moment was captured after the POTUS’ luncheon with tech executives on Tuesday.

Trump’s posture previously sparked concerns

Earlier this week, The Irish Star reported that Trump, 80, was “throwing his left leg forward” and struggling to walk in a straight line after talking to reporters at an airbase and boarding Marine One. The video was circulated online by X influencer Acyn.

Netizens raised concerns, with many claiming it was one of the symptoms of frontotemporal dementia.

Another clip from earlier this month showed the U.S. President “swaying” to his side as he walked on the red carpet ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s arrival in the USA. Back then, Aaron Rupar shared the relevant image on X and wrote:

“Watch Trump walking here — he can’t walk in a straight line.”

In April, roughly 36 health experts signed an open letter calling for the POTUS’ removal from office, citing the 25th Amendment, including a former Nobel Prize-winning psychiatrist Henry David Abraham. However, the following month, the U.S. President's physician Sean Barbabella told reporters:

“President Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.”

According to The Daily Beast, in August 2025, the U.S. President was seen apparently struggling to drag his right leg at the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia while playing with former MLB pitcher Roger Clemens and his son Kacy Clemens.

MeidasTouch member Ben Meiselas reviewed the video at the time and said:

“He's dragging that right leg again, and he can't walk in a straight line.”

Reports about the President’s stance came amid cameras capturing him allegedly snoozing during an Oval Office meeting. On Monday, Trump announced a $15 billion steel plant project in eastern Iowa in partnership with Mesabi Metallics.

During the “historic” briefing, the POTUS spoke about Joe Biden and repeated the expression “Sleepy Joe.” But moments later, when his Energy Secretary Chris Wright was speaking alongside Mesabi Metallics chairman Rewant Ruia, his eyelids fluttered open and closed. His head also drooped and his neck slackened.

The President also struggled to keep his eyes open when Mesabi CEO Joe Broking, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and Export-Import Bank Chairman John Jovanovic spoke with reporters.

The New Republic reported that he “sounded” exhausted while answering questions and allegedly “slurred” his speech.

Meanwhile, The Daily Beast reported that he was photographed allegedly sleeping nearly 23 times since he took office for his second term in January 2025, including at Cabinet meetings, White House press conferences, the 9/11 memorial at the Pentagon, and Senator Lindsey Graham’s funeral.
