Mark Ruffalo voiced his opinion against President Donald Trump’s attempt to ban mail-in ballots before the 2026 midterm elections, stating that he was “ready to Hulk out” on this matter.

The Avengers icon, 58, made the comments Sunday at a “Hands Off Our Vote” event. At the rally, he criticized the Republican Party regarding the voting process.

“Hands off our f*****g vote. I’m going to Hulk out. You won’t like me when I’m angry.”

Mark Ruffalo has portrayed Bruce Banner and the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2012. He also used the character while addressing the crowd, telling supporters:

“Hey, I’m still here. They … thought I was out for the count. I’m still here. I’m still playing the Hulk.”

In his speech, Mark Ruffalo also delivered fiery insults to the president as he encouraged the audience to “stop his policies.”

“We got to get this d**b-a**, fool-a**, tired-a**, lame-a**, duck-a** out of office. We got to make him a lame duck. We have to stop his policies now. Another two years of this, and who knows what he’ll be doing? He’s calling to throw Democrats out of the country.”

Following the cheers, the actor added that Trump “means everything he says.”

“I know, we’re all tired. We are so tired, but we can’t give up now. We got the ball on the 2-yard line. And we gotta run it in. And then we gotta keep running. We got to run to January. We’ve got to make sure our people get seated. They’re going to try and stop them. They’re going to try and stop us from taking our country back, and we’re not going to let them.”

Mark Ruffalo has been politically outspoken for years and has previously endorsed Bernie Sanders during presidential campaigns. He has also spoken publicly about climate change and the war in Gaza.

The actor’s statements arrive amidst a broader dispute over mail-in voting. Trump has repeatedly denounced voting by mail and has backed measures involving voter eligibility and election procedures.

In addition, the government has sought modifications in relation to the mailing of the ballots by the United States Postal Service. The Supreme Court has recently rejected a proposal to implement it for the midterm elections.

As the midterms draw near, there is still an ongoing debate about the rules and access to mail-in ballots.

Mark Ruffalo took advantage of his visit Sunday to urge his supporters not to support restrictions he thinks might hinder voters.
