Are Pauly D and Nikki Hall engaged? Jersey Shore alum Vinny Guadagnino reacts to their latest update, quips he's "not ok"

Vinny Guadagnino hilariously reacted to DJ Pauly D and Nikki Hall's recent engagement. He joked that he wasn't okay with the news and also shared a funny AI video on Instagram.

Pauly D, whose real name is Paul Michael DelVecchio Jr., proposed to Nikki Hall on Sunday, September 27. He went down on one knee at Sin City’s Omnia Dayclub, with many people surrounding and filming them. Hall was visibly emotional and said yes as the DJ put the ring on her finger.

After the proposal, Vinny Guadagnino shared a hilarious AI video on his Instagram account. In the video, Hall and DelVecchio Jr. are together in a house, while he is outside in the rain looking sad. He congratulated the couple and wrote in the caption:

"I’m not ok. Congratulations @djpaulyd and @nikkisaintclaire"

Guadagnino and DelVecchio Jr. were together in Jersey Shore before also starring on MTV's A Double Shot at Love. On the latter show, the two friends sought to choose a match each from 20 single girls, with Nikki Hall being a participant as well.

While nothing happened on the show, Hall and Pauly D got together after it was over. They have been together for around six years now. During the fourth season of Jersey Shore, the DJ revealed that he and Hall had decided to quarantine together during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also introduced the cast to her via a zoom call.

Nikki Hall had previously spoken about wanting Pauly D to propose to her

The proposal came just over a month after Nikki Hall's desire to marry Pauly D was aired. In an episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, released on August 13, Hall spoke to her roommates about a potential marriage with DelVecchio Jr. She said (h/t app):

“I would love for us to get there, but we haven't had an actual conversation about getting married. I'm fine waiting but… it's the time clock thing. I want to have at least one kid. We haven't had the right time to (ask) is that actually what we want?”

She further said:

“A lot of our friends and my family and his family (ask) and I'm like I don't know. It's also like when I die I want to be buried next to my husband. I just want to be his person and I want to change my last name and that's it.”

Notably, Pauly D has a daughter named Amabella Sophia Markert from his previous relationship with Amanda Markert. Nikki Hall, meanwhile, reportedly has a good relationship with both Amabella and Amanda.

Jenni "JWoww" Farley, who was part of the aforementioned marriage conversation, said:

“One of the beautiful things Nikki has is the fact that Bella, Pauly's daughter, is considered her daughter and she has a beautiful relationship with Bella's mom. Like that is awesome.”

Pauly D has now proposed to Nikki Hall, and she said yes. They also shared a collaboration post on Instagram to announce their engagement. Hall labeled it the "easiest yes" she's ever said.
