On October 7, Candace Owens reacted after Blake Neff seemingly said that the podcaster hates Erika Kirk for ‘murdering’ Charlie Kirk during his recent livestream on X. The political activist, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated on September 10 during his event at the UVU.During his livestream, Blake Neff talked about Candace Owens and called her a ‘wretched’ individual. He claimed that those who have ever worked with Owens never said anything good about her. He said:“She is clearly like a wretched individual who has always enjoyed being nasty to people. If you talk to anyone who’s ever worked with her, they never have anything good to say about her cause she’s always been absolutely awful to assistants to people sent to help her.”TPUSA's spokesman Blake Neff further stated that Candace Owens would have despised anyone who married Charlie. He added that the political commentator harboured hatred towards Charlie’s widow for allegedly murdering her.“And then you just see a new manifestation of this, like with Erika, like she probably never liked the fact that she would have probably hated anyone who married Charlie, so of course she’s gonna hate Erika for murdering Charlie.”Candace Owens reacted to Neff’s rant, saying:“Blake Neff went on a rant and declared that the reason I hate Erika is that she murdered Charlie. Awkward.”Candace Owens claimed TPUSA insisted on UVU for Charlie Kirk’s eventThe podcaster recently claimed that Charlie Kirk’s TPUSA misrepresented his event that happened on September 10. She asserted that Turning Point USA requested the event to be held at UVU and not the university. On September 26, Owens, in her X post, said:“They gaslit me for a year when I instantly said there was something weird about how quickly this event came together. They represented to the public that the chapter requested it. No. Headquarters requested it and was being vague to the Chapter Leader about it.”Candace even shared a timeline of how Charlie’s UVU event was planned. She claimed that UVU even flagged Kirk’s event due to security reasons.
