Ariana Grande opted for comfortable boots in place of her regular stilettos at her penultimate Eternal Sunshine Tour show in London after suffering a foot injury.The 33-year-old singer told fans ahead of the performance that she was recovering from a “deep cut” and would have to cover her injured foot throughout the night. On her Instagram Stories, the Side to Side songstress wrote:“my sweet petals, i wanted to let you know i will need to be in cozy footwear for this evenings show (and possibly tomorrow’s) as i am bandaged up underneath, recovering from a minor injury. it is not a sprain or anything muscular but just a deep cut!”Ariana Grande clarified the injury was not a sprain or muscular problem. She also warned fans she might have some difficulty putting weight on the affected foot. She continued:“so when you see me tonight without my signature heels, or even having a little trouble putting weight on that foot, that is why! but please do not fret. on with the show and i am on the mend!”Despite the injury, Ariana Grande expressed her excitement about the performance.“i cannot wait to perform for you tonight and tomorrow (even if i am a few inches shorter than usual) i love you always”The pop star went ahead with the concert and performed with her usual energy. Instead of her signature high heels, she wore black and pink UGG-style boots that coordinated with her stage outfits.The footwear switch followed the emergence of a video on Aug. 7 showing the pop star apparently limping onstage while performing Supernatural in her heels.
