Actor and comedian Adam Sandler appreciated Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX Halftime performance. When an Entertainment Tonight reporter caught up with Sandler, he was asked what he thought of the halftime performance. He replied:“Oh, Benito was unbelievable. Losse, happy, made me, made everybody ecstatic. I loved it and congrats to the Bunny. He’s a great human being.”Speaking about the game, Adam Sandler also said:“I got to say one thing. I'm wearing a hat with Seahawks and the Pats on there, but I am a Jets fan.”President Donald Trump also reacted to the Puerto Rican rapper’s Super Bowl LX Halftime performance. In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote that the Halftime show was one of the worst ones. According to him, it made no sense as it did not highlight the success of America. He even said that nobody understood what Bad Bunny said. At the same time, President Trump also criticised the dancers. He wrote:“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.”The statement continued:“This “Show” is just a “slap in the face” to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day - including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History! There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show.”Bad Bunny and Adam Sandler look back on their first meetingIn July 2025, Adam Sandler and Bad Bunny were guests on the Late Night with Seth Meyers show. The two stars acted together in Happy Gilmore 2. Sandler said that Benito did an “incredible” job in the movie. He said that he saw Benito on SNL and immediately thought that the rapper was funnier than him. When asked about the first time the two stars met, Bad Bunny said:“I think I always say we meet through text message. But the first time that I saw him, it was on a Lakers game.”Adam Sandler added:“Yes, he was on the other side, sitting way over there.”Sandler said he was with his daughter, and she pointed out to him that Bad Bunny was on the other side. The rapper said he was a little tipsy at that time, and he was with his best friend. He added:“I've been in a lot of Lakers games. I saw every celebrity, but never Adam Sandler, so I was, ‘He is here.’ When he did the like eye contact with me and said, ‘Hi,’ I cried.”Bad Bunny jokingly said that he tried to hold his tears because he did not want to cry on the courtside. However, he was more surprised that Adam Sandler knew who he was.
