BFI London Film Festival full Screen Talks line-up revealed: Cynthia Erivo joins Andrew Scott and Mahershala Ali

London Film Festival Screen Talks has finally revealed its line-up, with Wicked star Cynthia Erivo now joining the Screen Talks list. On September 1, BFI London Film Festival Screen Talks announced the line-up for its 70th edition. And the list doesn't disappoint at all!

The participants of this year's include big names from the industry, including Andrew Scott, Mahershala Ali, Cynthia Erivo, and more. The BFI London Film Festival will run from October 7 and will go on until October 18, as reported on BFI's website.

Additionally, the festival will be held across multiple venues. This includes the Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall, BFI Southbank, and BFI IMAX in London. As reported on their website, screenings will also be held at Curzon Soho, the ICA, Vue West End, and Prince Charles Cinema.

BFI London Film Festival Screen Talks: Who will be part of the lineup?

The lineup of this year's festival includes Andrew Scott, famous for All of Us Strangers, Spectre, and Pride. Next on the list is Ava DuVernay, known for Queen Sugar, Selma, and When They See Us; Cynthia Erivo (famous for Wicked and The Color Purple); and Brad Bird (known for The Incredibles and The Iron Giant.

The list doesn't stop there. The fineup further includes Mahershala Ali, who is loved for Green Book, Jurassic Park: Rebirth, and Leave the World Behind. James Gray and the Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg are also part of the lineup. The actor was also loved for his role in his recent movie Now You See Me: Now You Don't. The names on the lineup also include Sofia Coppola (famous for Lost in Translation and The Beguiled), John Malkovich (famous for In the Line of Fire and Places in the Heart), and Danny Boyle (famous for Slumdog Millionaire and Trainspotting). Naomie Ackie, famous for Mickey 17 and Blink Twice, is also part of the lineup.

The festival also mentioned many names on their website, including Andrew Scott, Ava DuVernay, Brad Bird, Cynthia Erivo, James Gray, Jesse Eisenberg, John Malkovich, Mahershala Ali, Naomie Ackie, Sofia Coppola, and Danny Boyle, sharing a brief look at their careers and some of their best-known work ahead of their Screen Talks.

While the Screen Talks lineup is now out, fans only have one more day to wait for the full festival programme, which will be revealed on September 2. Tickets will then go on general sale on September 17, while BFI Members will get early access to booking.
