As news of hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs being taken to a hospital after injuries from a reported scuffle at the Fort Dix prison last week with the Jamaican drug lord Dudus Coke circulated online, the Bureau of Prisons has now insisted that it was not the case.
As cited by Deadline, the Young G's rapper, Diddy, who was convicted of transportation to engage in prostitution last year in July, was not admitted to the hospital because of a scuffle with Dudus Coke over cell sweeps, but due to something else, which the Bureau of Prisons has not revealed.
However, according to Deadline, while there was no involvement of the Jamaican drug lord Dudus, it is true that Diddy was taken to the hospital on October 10, 2026, but he returned without any stitch marks or any visible treatment. As Fort Dix prison officials called TMZ's report about Diddy and Dudus being involved in a scuffle false, they released a statement that read:
"While for privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any individual in our custody, we can tell you that the story you are referring to is false and did not happen."
According to Deadline, the Bureau of Prisons does not typically reveal information about inmates or what happens inside the prison, no matter how high-profile a prisoner is. The officials at Fort Dix doubt that information or misinformation was leaked from inside the prison regarding Diddy and Dudus, and they were forced to acknowledge the recent matter and clarify. The BOP's statement further added:
"Sean Combs is in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons and is incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix. Beyond this, we have no additional information to provide."
Diddy's spokesperson opens up after reports of Combs and Dudus Coke's alleged fight

According to Deadline, Diddy's representative, Juda Engelmayer, spoke about the reported prison fight between Sean Combs and Dudus, which the BOP called false, and acknowledged the BOP's clarification. Engelmayer said:
"We appreciate the BOP’s clarification, which confirms our concerns about the accuracy of the initial reports. We have not independently verified the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident, and I don’t want to speculate about what may or may not have happened. At this point, we have no verified information indicating that Sean was attacked by Christopher Coke or anyone else, or that he sustained injuries."
