The Rage of Angels actor, Jaclyn Smith, has spilled some beans that caught people by surprise in her brand-new book, I Once Knew A Guy Named Charlie, released on September 8, 2026.
According to USA Today, Jaclyn Smith, 80, revealed in her recently released memoir that her late costar in the immensely popular TV series Charlie's Angels, Tanya Roberts, once propositioned her for a threesome on a flight while they were traveling to Hawaii. At the time, Roberts, who unfortunately passed away in January 2021, was married to Barry Roberts.
In her memoir, Nightkill actress Jaclyn Smith said that Sins of Desire actress Roberts was in an open marriage with her husband, Barry Roberts, when she proposed that she join for the threesome. At the time, they were shooting the fifth and last installment of Charlie's Angels, created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts. While Jaclyn turned down Tanya's bold invitation, in her new book she wrote:
"I found her honesty about her s*xuality to be brave and self-aware. The world is made up of all kinds of people with all kinds of passions, and hooray for that. My own perspective on marriage was traditional, based on the values I grew up with. Her choice seemed complicated to me, with great potential for hurt feelings."

According to Page Six, in her memoir, Smith revealed that it was their real estate agent, Laura, with whom Davis cheated on her. She found out about the affair from Bill, who was Laura's husband. However, when Jaclyn confronted her about it, Laura confessed and admitted the truth.
