On February 19, Conan Gray kicked off his 2026 Wishbone World Tour at Minneapolis's Target Center. He later announced that the Minnesota Immigrants Rights Action Committee will get 100% of the money raised from the shirt sales that evening.

The 42-city tour is in support of Gray's fourth studio album, Wishbone, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart in August and went on to become his highest-charting release. Gray's album, Wishbone, has been hailed by critics as “a confident pop statement” and “a thrilling promise of what’s to come from him in the future.”

The Minneapolis concert marked the official opening of the Wishbone era on stage. Conan Gray had performed alongside special guest Esha Tewari. Gray divided the performance into four themed acts: Act I: A Wishbone Never Breaks Even, followed by Act II: I Got the Short End of the Stick, then Act III: I Took the Long Way to Realization, and finally, Act IV: I Wished for Love, and I Found It.

The setlist, as shared by fans online on setlist.fm, is as follows: Act I consisted of songs like My World, Never Ending Song, Care and Wish You Were Sober. Followed by Act II, Class Clown, People Watching (with barricade walk), The Cut That Always Bleeds, Eleven Eleven, and Nauseous. Then Act III consisted of Romeo The Best (unreleased; live debut), Lookalike, Heather (Lost Verse version; extended intro), Family Line, and Connell, and ended with Act IV with songs Actor, Maniac (extended intro; band introductions), and Vodka Cranberry.

An acoustic rendition of "Conan's Campfire" was also included in the show, providing a more personal interlude to the more expansive theatrical parts. Early tour stop reviews characterised the performance as very intimate and emotionally engrossing, with a theme reminiscent of a bedroom, which reflects Gray's admission that he wrote a large portion of Wishbone by himself.

It was only after the opening night of the 2026 Wishbone World Tour that he announced that all the shirt sales would go directly to the Minnesota Immigrants Rights Action Committee, an agency that works on community defense initiatives and immigration-related issues while advocating for immigrant communities.

Conan Gray's public statements on ICE

Conan Gray has been outspoken in his criticism of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In recent weeks, he reposted a post on X and Instagram from Bernie Sanders that condemned ICE operations described as occupying communities and using aggressive tactics, while urging Americans to resist what Sanders called "authoritarian actions."

In a separate post, Gray encouraged followers to vote out politicians who supported legislation funding ICE. He also urged fans to register to vote if they had not already done so, emphasizing civic participation as a way to create change.

By linking a tour launch to direct financial support for an immigrant rights organization, the Minneapolis merchandise donation is a continuation of that advocacy.

Conan Gray's 2026 Wishbone World Tour will be touring North America for now before they start performing outside the region. Gray's next performance will be on February 21, 2026, at Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana.
