Eminent socialite and wife of global pop star, Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, is currently the talk of the town as an old tweet of hers from 2012 on X (formerly Twitter) is doing the rounds following her recent appearance at the Grammys on February 1, 2026, in Los Angeles, where she donned an "ICE OUT" pin. The 29-year-old Hailey, who is also a businesswoman and professional model, walked the Grammys red carpet with the Yummy hitmaker Justin Bieber, both wearing "ICE OUT" pins, as per USA Today. The Grammys this year took place at the Crypto Arena in LA.

The 2012 X post that is currently going viral reads,

"Shut up before I smack you back to your own country."

While the reported tweet appeared as if Hailey Bieber was threatening someone to go back to their own country, it turned out to be fake. Interestingly, the reported post was shared from an "Hailey Bieber" account, whereas in 2012, the American socialite was still Hailey Baldwin, as she was quite young and certainly was not married to Justin Bieber. Hailey and Justin tied the knot in 2018.

The viral tweet turned out to be nothing but a fake post. However, Hailey Bieber did make a statement with Justin Bieber when she donned the "ICE OUT" pins at the 2026 Grammys to protest against the recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement crackdowns throughout the United States. The high-profile couple donned "ICE OUT" pins in response to the brutal murder of American citizens Alex Pretti and Renee Good, who were shot to death in January 2026 by ICE and Border Patrol agents.

It was not only the Peaches hitmaker, Justin Bieber, and his wife, Hailey Bieber, who wore the "ICE OUT" pins at the 2026 Grammys, but other A-list artists such as Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, Kehlani, Justin Vernon, Amy Allen, Jack Antonoff, Helen J Shen, Finneas, and Samara Joy, also wore the "ICE OUT" pins in response to the recent brutal ICE crackdowns across America, according to The National.

The After Hours singer, Kehlani, who won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance and R&B Song, during her acceptance speech, said:

"I hope everybody's inspired to join together as a community of artists and speak out against what's going on."

On the other hand, Justin Vernon, whose indie folk band Bon Iver was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album, said:

"I think there's a reason that music exists and it's to heal and to bring people together. But the real work are those observers on the ground in Minneapolis. We just want to shout them out."
