Does Ariana Grande have six fingers? The singer addresses viral Vogue photoshoot error

Ariana Grande recently modeled for Vogue Japan, and the photos were stunning to say the least. However, one of the photos caught a netizen's attention. It showed Grande having six fingers, which is reportedly due to a Photoshop error. One Instagram user (@ourpinkwitchh) posted a zoomed-in photo of her left hand. An extra finger appears between her pinky and ring finger. The user wrote:

“who’s responsible for giving ariana 6 fingers.”

The 32-year-old actress commented on the post. She wrote:

“oh my goodness how exciting ! i’ve been saying i need some extra appendages so that i can start an album ! thankful for this.”

In an interview with Vogue Japan, Ariana Grande said that there were times when her celebrity status made more noise than her actual work. During those moments, it was her mother, Joan Grande, who would have her back. Grande said:

“And my mom has always been here to set the record straight in my head and remind me of my worth as an artist and as a human being every time that noise has almost derailed me.”

Ariana Grande also mentioned:

“Never in my life did I expect to be an Oscar-nominated actress. I just never thought I’d be seen that way by the industry that I love. I give my life to art every minute of every day. So to feel embraced back - and to share it with my mom - is so extraordinary.”

Ariana Grande also broke down some of her looks from the past years. One of them was her 2025 Golden Globe Awards look. She said it was the first time she was nominated for the award. Grande said she wore a 1996 Givenchy, and it was her first big vintage purchase. She loved everything about the dress, especially the butter-yellow color. Looking back on her 2025 Oscars look, she said:

“I am in custom Schiaparelli. This is one of my favorite things I've ever worn in my life. Daniel Roseberry, I love you so much. He's the most incredible human being. I'm so lucky to have shared this moment with him. I was nominated for an Oscar and I got to wear a custom Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry and sing.”

She went on to say:

“I got to open the show as well with Cynthia singing in another custom Schiaparelli look by Daniel Roseberry with the ruby slipper coming out of my back which was one of the greatest gayest moments of my life.”

Grande said that her outfit for the 2025 Governors Ball was a vintage Dior piece designed by John Galliano, which she and Law Roach were excited to find. She shared that her hair was done by Alex Lou and that she really liked the updo, while her makeup was done by Michael Anthony.
