Does Bunnie Xo still plan to have a child? Podcast host addresses baby plans after Jelly Roll divorce

Bunnie Xo is still hoping to become a mother again, even following her divorce from Jelly Roll.

The Dumb Blonde podcast host doubled down on her baby plans during an interview on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle that aired Aug. 20. She admitted that motherhood is still one of the things on her bucket list, though she did not reveal whether Jelly Roll is still involved.

"So I definitely still want to have a baby, and that's going to be one of my newest chapters of my next book."

She also said that her road to motherhood would also be something featured in her book, adding that the viewers would soon know about her experience.

"I can’t wait for you guys to read about it because it's been one hell of a journey, let me tell you."

Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll divorce: A quick recap

Bunnie Xo's revelation comes about a month after she and the country singer finalized their divorce following nearly a decade together. The former couple shocked fans earlier this year when news of their split became public.

Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll, whose real names are Alisa DeFord and Jason Bradley DeFord, have been vocal about their intentions of having a child, which were also a hot topic when their marriage ended.

Following their divorce, Bunnie Xo had spoken up about continuing the pursuit, noting that their plan included surrogacy and conceiving through IVF.

"We're still having a baby. We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered. We're going to co-parent together."

Recalling, Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll were together for about ten years after first meeting in 2015, and tied the knot the following year.

Throughout their marriage, Bunnie helped raise Jelly's kids from his prior relationship, namely Bailee Ann DeFord (born in May 2008) and Noah Buddy DeFord (born in August 2016).

Moreover, Bunnie financially supported Jelly in his career, as well as in getting a custody of his daughter.

In 2018, Jelly and Bunnie broke up due to infidelity struggles.

In an October 2025 interview, Jelly admitted to cheating on his wife, saying that being unfaithful to Bunnie was "one of the worst moments of my life."

"Because it was the first time that I was like, 'I really can’t get this right at all. Like, I know I'm in love with this woman.' It just really, really, really blew me back."

He went on to say that he worked hard to fix their relationship as reconciliation was underway.

"The repair has been special, man. We're stronger than we could've ever been. I wish our story would've went in the way that it never had an affair, and I'm in no way glad it happened, but, man, I'm proud of who we are today."

Bunnie and Jelly renewed their vows in Las Vegas in 2023.

However, they eventually parted ways a few years down the road. On May 9, 2026, the former couple's official date of separation was listed in court documents, which also reveal that Jelly filed for divorce on May 18, citing irreconcilable differences.
